Farm Fling — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026 (version 0.2.0)
Farm Fling: Chicken Launch ("the game") is published by Pierre Blouet ("we"). This policy covers the iOS and Android apps and the web version at farmfling.vercel.app. In short: the apps show ads, sell optional items and, if you agree where the law requires it, send game statistics linked to a random Player ID (never to your name or email); the web version does none of that.
What stays on your device
Your progress (coins, diamonds, upgrades, best distances), your settings and your consent choices are saved on your device. Deleting the game (or clearing the website's data in your browser) deletes them. Your device's own backup, if enabled, is governed by Apple's or Google's policies.
Your Player ID
When you first open the app, the game creates a random ID for your copy of the game, the Player ID. It is not your name, email, phone number or advertising ID, and we have no account system. We use it to connect the statistics, crash reports and purchases described below to the same copy of the game. You can see it at the bottom of the Records screen; tap it to copy it.
Ads (apps only)
The apps show ads from Google AdMob: a full-screen ad now and then between two flings, and videos you can choose to watch for a reward (more coins, or a diamond in the shop). Ads never appear during a fling. Some players see no ads at all, as part of a test.
To choose and show ads, Google collects data from your device, such as an advertising identifier, your IP address (which gives an approximate location), device and app information, and how you interact with ads. See how Google uses this data.
- Consent form. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), the app shows Google's consent form at first launch, before any ad.
- Tracking (iPhone). Right after, iOS asks whether the game may track you. If you allow it, Google may use your device's advertising identifier to show you more relevant ads. If you don't, you still see ads, without that identifier. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Privacy options. Where the consent form applies, a "Privacy options" button in the Records screen lets you review and change your choices at any time.
- Remove ads. An optional purchase removes the between-flings ads for good. Videos you choose to watch for a reward stay available.
Game statistics and crash reports (apps only)
The apps use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to understand how the game is played and to fix bugs. Nothing is sent before the consent step at first launch.
- Where the consent form applies (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), statistics and crash reports are sent only if, in that form, you accept both "Store and/or access information on a device" and "Measure content performance" or "Understand audiences through statistics". Otherwise they stay off, and Firebase is told not to use any data for advertising. If you change your mind in "Privacy options", the game applies your new choice right away.
- Elsewhere, they start after the consent step at first launch.
When they are on, they receive:
- the Player ID described above;
- game events: flings, distances, upgrades, screens opened, ads offered and watched, purchases, and which version of a feature you see (we test variants, such as how often ads appear);
- device and app information collected by Firebase: device model, operating system, app version, language, and country or region (from your IP address);
- crash reports: what the app was doing when it crashed, device model and system.
We use this data only to measure and improve the game. We do not sell it. Firebase Remote Config downloads game settings (for example how often ads appear) in every case; it receives a technical Firebase installation ID, but no game data. See Firebase's privacy information.
Purchases (apps only)
You can buy diamonds and "Remove ads". Payment is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check purchases and restore them: it receives the store's purchase receipt and the Player ID. A "Restore purchases" button in the shop brings back "Remove ads" on a new device. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Web version
The web version has no ads, no purchases and no analytics: it does not load Firebase, AdMob or RevenueCat. It is hosted by Vercel, which, like any web host, may process technical data such as your IP address in its server logs to deliver and protect the website. We do not use these logs to identify you. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Where data goes and how long we keep it
Google and RevenueCat may process data in the United States and other countries. Game statistics and crash reports are kept for at most 14 months, then deleted. Purchase records are kept as long as needed to restore your purchases and to meet legal and tax obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can change your ad and statistics choices with "Privacy options" (where available) and your tracking choice in iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access or delete your data, or to object to its use: write to us and we will help. Include your Player ID (bottom of the Records screen, tap to copy) in any request to access or delete your data: it is the only way we can find the data linked to your copy of the game. Copy it before deleting the app, since a new installation gets a new Player ID.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and is not part of any "Kids" or "Families" program. Ads are not set up as child-directed. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us.
Changes
If a new version changes what the game collects, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
